John owns his own business locally, focused on the real estate and housing sector in MA and NH. He is experienced in land use planning and development, representing both landowners and developers, and is particularly interested in use of alternative building materials. Previously, after receiving his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Belgium (1977, 1979), he stayed on for 18 more years, first as Dean of International Studies at an international business school, designing and coordinating exchange graduate programs with US universities, and later as an economic advisor to the State of Utah’s Brussels office. In addition to being on the BOD, John is a member of the ACES Communications Team and the Planning Team.
