Beginning in 1985, Peter furthered his architecture school thesis project, Revitalizing Rural
Communities, and began restoring a small farm in Maine. As an architect, he founded a
company in Newburyport, providing Owner’s Project Management services for public and
private schools and libraries, and for campus master plan implementation. He now resides on
Plum Island, and has begun cultivating all over again, by planting heirloom apples and raising
brook trout, in a rural community in Vermont.
